CPAP cost unaffordable?

I was recently diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. I finally received approval from my health insurance to get the CPAP machine. Howerver, my insurance will only cover 50%. When I was on the phone with the CPAP customer service reps setting up my home installation for the CPAP. The CSR went over the cost of the machine. She stated that I would be renting the machine. And every three months I would get new tubing, mask, etc. But the renatal cost is $400 a month. I simply cannot afford that. Does anyone know of an assistance program to help the cost of CPAP rentals? I know my quality of sleep is improtant but $400 a month is steep for me.

This situation is common and lousy as far as I’m concerned. Google “purchase cpap” and you will find all sorts of choices. Make sure to find out from your sleep lab/doctor exactly what they are recommending and the pressure setting on the machine. You can probably get your insurance to pay 50% if you talk to their reps and discuss your options (but that is often like beating your head against the wall). You don’t need new tubing every three months, but will need to be careful about cleaning/maintaining it. There are surgical options for some people. Speak to an ENT doctor. Good Luck!!

Ideas on passing out flyers to get the word out of a home-based business?

I want to get the word out of a homebased business.. So I need any ideas on where to put flyers? Would it be bad to put them on the flags of mailboxes? Any other ideas on how to get the word out would be helpful to. I have over 200 flyers and can always make more. I am already advertising in the paper. My funds are kind of low so I’d like to find some great affordable solutions.

First you need to figure out who your target market is…kids, parents, DINKs, elderly, religious, college students, etc. Then think about what they do and where they go. That is where you should put your flyers. Unless this is something that everyone would be interested in, don’t waste your time, money, and effort blanketing the streets to put the flyers on doors. And definately stay away from the mailboxes…you just may get charged with a federal offense!

Why are most homes on Indian Reservations kept in such poor condition?

Why does almost every yard have lots of garbage and junk in it?? It seems to be a common thread in every Indian reservation in the U.S. & Canada. It looks like no one has cleaned their yard in years, plus the windows often have broken blinds, trashed curtains, etc. Is this a result of a Welfare state because we as a nation have given them so much free stuff in recent decades that we took away their motivation to work (and clean up after themselves in their homes/yards??)

People their are a product of their environment, this has been going on through the generations. It is kinda like people on welfare their children have children to collect welfare. It is all normal to them, how it all began I have no idea. SOME people walk around with a sense of entitlement, black people who don’t even know anything about slavery feels like the white man owes them something even though the white people in this generation had nothing to do with it and the black people in this generation did not suffer,they still walk around blaming the white man of all of their down falls in life.
