How much much salary per month for in care home caretaker in Kuala Lumpur?
I am planning to live Kuala Lumpur for large periods of time and I want to know what is the average salary RM for a maid/cook/shopping? I have an elderly mom and disable brother.

It is extremely difficult to get a local home caretaker.
You may want to consider those from Philipine, Indonesia & Cambodia.
Most of the Philipine maid can speak English but more expensive.
Indonesia maid is non english speaking.
Cambodia maid can only speak a few word but I don’t think you hv time to explain.
Be very careful when you select your maid.
Most of the maid agency allow you to change the maid within 3 month period if you are not happy with the maid.
Make sure you have the insurance where if the maid run away within certain period of time, the insurance will take care of everything.

I’m on my way to my second career, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Education. Being a student sometimes is synonymous with being poor when your paying for everything, and have two children in the home as well. I do have some time left for another venture, and really need to generate some additional income badly if I am to continue forward with the last year and a half of my degree. The goal is to not have to take on a second job away from home that would take me away from my kids more than what I am now. That just isn’t possible.
