Work From Home Atlanta

Work From Home Atlanta
i’m trying to find a good church home in atlanta, ga?

I am trying to find a good church home in atlanta, ga. Not really into the whole mega church thing. I also live north of the city so I would like a good church in Chamblee, Norcross, Duluth, somewhere in those whereabouts. Preferably Baptist, Protestant, Christian churches. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am new to the area and have yet to find a good church home.

To find a church that teaches Biblical truth:

1) It starts with prayer. Ask God to lead you to church where the Holy Spirit is present.

2) Investigate. Google the name of churches/denominations online to see if there is much controversy over their teachings. (Are they frequently called a cult? Do they have some obviously unbiblical teachings?) Does the church have a website? Perhaps you can listen to online sermons?

3) Study. Listen carefully to the passages used in a sermon. Is the focus on the Scriptures? When you get home, read these passages more in depth to be certain nothing was taken out of context. Perhaps, even look for online commentaries on the passages, to compare and contrast different views.

4) Trust God over man. If something doesn’t feel right then leave, even if you’ve started to get comfortable at that church.

5) Continue to do your OWN study of the Bible so that you can grow in your relationship with God. The more you do this, the more clear it will be to you when something isn’t right.

I can’t emphasize this enough: It’s ALL about searching for God and trusting Him! If you put your faith in Him (instead of religious leaders opinions), He will NOT let you down.

Lovely town..beautiful hills, autumn colours are fab…..I’ve got dozens of pics of it. I cycle out there from St. Albans area and do some walking around there sometimes….very nice. Work From Home West Yorkshire

Work From Home West Yorkshire
where can I obtain Middlewood Mental asylum records. I believe my maternal grandmother died there.?

I have discovered that my grandmother suffered from severe depression and her husband had her committed to an asylum in West Yorkshire where she remained until her death. She was totally abandoned and no one was ever allowed to mention it. I would like to find out more about it. I have her name, date of birth and possible year of eath which was registered in the the district where the asylum was situated and not her home town which leads me to believe the sad truth about my grandmother sad life. Who do I contact to find out more.

Have you Googled Middlewood Mental Asylum? There are too many hits for me to list on here. It looks as though the hospital name was changed a few times.
I think your best bet is to see if the main library at Sheffield has any asylum records.
I am also interested in asylums as I had a great aunt who was an institutionalised alcoholic. The family washed their hands of her and lost touch. That has always horrified me. What awful social inadequacy.
Also Google West Yorkshire Family History Society. Several come up, but don’t know Yorkshire, and can’t identify which one would be relevant to pursue your query with.
