Work from home on internet seems like the perfect heaven-sent opportunity to people who would otherwise find it hard to get employed. Among these are housewives, undergraduates, people who don’t meet age or other employment requirements or people who simply don’t want to be bothered by the rituals of going to work.

Many people grow tired of the routine going out and coming back home for five to six days in a week. Working at the comfort of their home while earning, even if the pay is not great, is still a dream job for some. In addition to those who want to work a “job” from home, there are countless others who want to gain financial freedom with an online business.

The ads for home-based internet work are quite attractive. For a resident of a third-world country, the dollar signs that flash across the screen are a hefty inducement to try to do the job. But perhaps only a small percentage of the advertised jobs are really legitimate?

Since the internet is ‘open-country’ so to speak, pranksters and scammers also abound. Some common work from home on internet jobs are telemarketing, data entry, typing jobs and “forex gigs”. Con artists take advantage of the anonymity the internet to efficiently lure job-seeking individuals with promises of quick and easy work that pay a lot and can be done easily at leisure. The old adage is true though, “if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is”.

The scammers making great promises to the job applicant, usually ask the applicant to register and pay a registration fee to the job-provider. What one gets after the fee is paid is most frequently of questionable value. There are some companies who offer Work From Home Kits that purportedly help you to get more gainfully employed but you should also be careful about paying for  these ‘lessons’ since some of them are just full of empty promises.

You could end up flushing a lot of money down the drain following big promises and empty dreams. For a stay at home mom this can be especially painful since this could mean a not so small dent in the meager family budget. Make sure to always check, double check and even triple check any company that offers online work. Sadly, a vast majority of them really are scams.

The legitimate ones focus on skill so if you don’t have marketable skills (and even if you do), be careful, use the search engine to research what others are syaing about the company making the offer and perhaps most importantly, ask yourself: Does this make sense… would it really be a win for me and a win for the employer ?

What’s the truth behind these “work at home” internet ads? Can someone tell me w/c are real & w/c are scams?

The ads come complete with testimonials from allegedly satisfied people who registered and are now working at home and earning huge cash. In some ads you are required to make an investment like buy a CD or a kit. This makes me more suspicious.

Yes, you can work from home but it’s not an easy path. I myself working on it for 2 years plus. Can see how it evolve. If you are not really into putting all your efforts into it. I think it’s not suitable for you.
